Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts that are known to enter the blood stream in about 20 to 30 minutes, affecting every system in the body.

Lavender is calming and relaxing, helping with palpitations, relieves emotional stress, and anxiety, helps control histamine, reduces inflammation. Very good for stress related asthma. Caution Lavender should not be used during the early stages of pregnancy. Use Lavender with caution if you have low blood pressure.
Peppermint is an effective anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory.
When using essential oils always dilute in body oils and creams – always follow the instructions.
AVOID if pregnant this a general rule, especially if you are new to essential oils. There are exceptions but you must seek professional advice.
